FREE Ads Work!
I have got to tell you a story, and apologize to my old friend Bill for stealing his thunder. You see, I put this little classified ad on USFreeAds to promote my “people search” website. Actually I paid $10 for a one year Gold membership so I could place business ads on there, only personal ads are free. But the big surprise came after about a month when I “Googled” Bill’s people search website Title in quotes, “Find Anyone Fast“. The actual site name is Find-Anyone.ws but it’s Fast.
Seems I used that title as the headline of an ad for my own people search website, not his. Lo and behold there was my ad on page 2 of Google search results while his website was no where to be found in the first 10 pages. His website had not been “optimized” yet since he was “so busy with 8 other sites”. (more likely he was on the road and ignoring them too.) Most of the other results were for a best selling book by that title. I’d say we both learned a lesson from that experiment, and now have plenty more ads running on USFreeAds since we know how effective they are.
