I’m fed up with all the “gurus” lying to me and everyone else about how you can get rich quick just by following in their footsteps. The only ones who are going to get rich quick are the ones perpetuating the lies. In my 15+ years of marketing on-line I have bought into way too many promises that just sucked money instead of delivering on the promise to make you rich. And I still am swayed by a good line that plays on my emotions of wanting to help others succeed and prosper on-line. So many have lost their jobs and are looking for a way to earn money on-line, even if they have to work at it! It’s a shame that MOST – Almost ALL – opportunities you will see are SCAMS. Do they really live in that McMansion and drive that mean machine? And if they do, it is probably because of suckers like me and you buying their “secret formula”. Automatic cash machine, blah, blah, blah. I know I have not seen them all but probably way more than the average person. The problem is there is a new get rich quick program started every day, maybe even every hour now. How can you tell what’s real and what’s not? One book that exposes them all and tells the truth behind all the lies is “Stop Being A Victim” by Dave Gray of the Online Business Alliance. The one truth that hit me most was to focus on one thing and quit trying to make multiple streams of income from multiple places. Focus your marketing on one program that allows you to create multiple streams using it.

I am fed up and not going to put one more penny in some gurus pocket for promises that are never quite what they seemed. So with that in mind, I am going back to what I enjoy doing the most, spending time in the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona taking photos to share with my family and friends around the world plus helping others learn to create websites that pay.

There are plenty of real FREE money making ideas on this blog. None are going to make you rich over night but all are capable of producing a decent income when you put in the time and effort. No one is going to do it for you, period. Sure the “gurus” can show you their tricks and you can learn from them, just don’t be a victim of their emotional ploys. There are many legitimate ways to make money on-line. Stay focused on one at a time and quit chasing the next great guru. You can add more income streams later once you establish a base to work from. My base has always been web hosting and sharing photos, all else was just a distraction. I’m going back to focus on what I enjoy the most, and that is not being lied to.
